My heart did rejoice finally
After a prolonged flight of searching
As I found her then again I realised
The sunshine did turn to grey skies
Though it could never be now
My heart ached with deepened pain
It is a day plus a time of sadness
The breeze has called out to me again
I am dismayed for the breeze
That held our love in flight
Understood realising not one breath
Of the breeze that is gone forever
When I am soaring once again
I will remember us and my rejoicing
When you healed my tattered wings
Remembering in every place and every space
Now that my wings have spread again
My heart will ache a deepened pain
All the same, as I leave your love behind
