Submit Your Poem

We hold an ongoing, open call for submissions from across the province.

We accept work under many different themes and genres and publish 10 works monthly. However, we will be also be having four focused Kaleidoscope editions throughout the year with the following themes –
June – ‘Strength’
September – ‘Hope’
December – ‘Resilience’
March – ‘Growth

If you wish your poem to be considered for the themed editions please indicate in the comments section on the online submission form below.

 

Submission Guidelines:
• Encouraged from persons of all ages and experience levels
• Original and previously unpublished works
• Accompanied by a completed submission form

Please Note:
Short biography is requested. Please adhere to the following guidelines;
• Your name is on the first line,
• It is written in the third person,
• Awards and publications are noted,
• Word count of fifty (50) or less

Consent to publish Declaration of Originality and Artwork Release 
By submitting an entry, you hereby certify that this is your original work. Your work has not been copied or reproduced from other work. You agree that Kaleidoscope will not be responsible for any copyright infringements, and you hereby release and indemnify them from any and all claims. You understand that you will receive no compensation for your entry and you authorize its use without receipt of any financial consideration or compensation. Terms and Conditions by submitting your entry to the Kaleidoscope: Wellness through Creative Expression, you hereby grant Kaleidoscope permission to:

a. Use your name, likeness and biographical information in connection with the work being submitted. You also agree:
b. Accepted entries may be published in Kaleidoscope Online.
c. Copyright is retained by the artist. Kaleidoscope will not grant use of the art to third parties.
d. Kaleidoscope Selection Committee decisions around the selection of works is final.
