You Launch Me: James Adamson

You Launch Me

To the Glory of God

To Gwyneth, with Love

I lie here just waiting to listen to your music

Slide into some paradise by default

At the same time i want to fight for my life

I want my brain cells to coalesce

For things to gather into my heart beat

For a rise into battle

A fight I didn’t choose or desire

I want to win

To gather fish into a net

To spread the simple power of truth

The world is set in place and God manipulates us for as many people as possible to forgive

Identifying in us and  Himself so that we can learn to come to terms with evil

Or else it would be over in five minutes instead

Like a silo darkness is left behind

My bonded clinch like my fist

My flesh shivers like heat waiting

Strength is like justice

Blind but with a cause

Can you see a true monster

The one that makes you see yourself

Ugliness reconciled

Love deepened by its need to

The power to defend creation given and taken

Over and over like a tree sized fountain

Drinking from water lillies

Endless growth knowing the days get smaller and smaller compared to what they were as time goes by

Yet needing to hold onto it in the hand

I will vanish enough to make you clear

I will rise into a vacuum out there you will know eternity

Revealing computer images so reality can laugh

Running to beat the suffocation of performance

The world on your back just because you did anything at all

Losing pain of self deception

Only to see no one will believe this

No matter how small the chance is its all that  matters

Seeking an end to beauty assumed

While hope has white light

Gardens are invisible

And satellites become ambiguous

The people cover their ears and insist you are fired towards the ground

Certainty means they try to kill with lies

They have no idea of consequence

That words see a flower

A tree as more powerful than a rocket

As a chance to inspire greater than archetypes

A man trying too see from an inspired point of view

Countless hope of a mere effort finding the confusion of rabbit warrens

Everything living to see a perspective

Just a chance for a man to re;present the huge variety of himself

Nervously eyes dart about

And hardly anyone learns

Except that it happens all the time

A man admits he’s been egotistical

And laughs because insults are just as old as hope

Even though today is shiny and new

Jokes about slick metal, cold as it heats up up in the atmosphere are lobbied

Yet telling the truth already knows
