Through Dense Forest, I Stalked The Bear,
With Rifle Raised, And Steady Stare.
The Hunt Was Long, The Chase Intense,
But In My Heart, A Sense Of Fence.
I Tracked The Bear, With Stealth And Skill,
And When It Came,
I Willed Myself To Take The Shot With Care,
For In That Moment, I Was Aware.
The Bear Fell, And As It Lay,
A Peaceful Stillness Came To Say,
That In This Hunt, And In This Kill,
There Was A Connection, Deep and Still
I Knelt Beside The Fallen Bear,
At that instant, I Was Aware,
That In The Taking Of Its Life,
I Felt A Connection, Free Of Strife.
I Took A Moment, To Give Thanks,
For The Connection, And The Chance
To Be A Part Of Natures Dance,
And In That Moment, I Found My Stance.
