Ruminations: Nancy A.M. Alexiuk, Phd.

If I could turn the clock ahead
To when we’ll be together
I’d do it in a second, dear
And hold it there forever

If I could turn the clock behind
To palm trees and the beach
I’d go back to that moment, dear
When each our souls did reach

But sand keeps falling through the glass
Its passage bring no ease
Our havens are those hopes, dreams
And memories time can’t seize.
