O, would that I could be
Not just one, but maybe two,
So that I could get everything done
Everything that I should do
It really would be nice, I know.
To be here and there at the very same time
Doing all I ever wished, up a thousand steps I would climb!
In but one day I had to try my best
(which would be twice as good as usual!)
To show the world a little more love
In my role – as being dual!
There would be so many closed doors
That I could open wide
And peek around the corner
To see just what’s inside!
I’d meet so many people
And I would talk to everyone
There would be lots of time to do all that
If I were more than one.
