Lady Liberty: Andrews

The flame burns within
With eyes bowed to heavenly constellations
It is as deep as the land of milk and honey
In our world of freedoms and peaceful hearts

She comes from far away
Lady Liberty pilgrims in this fine land
From shore to shore she did sail to
In our world of freedoms and peaceful hearts

Gathering people from all walks of life
Embracing those liberties for the poor and weak
Across this fine earth, they do come
With God that painter of diverse design
On earth-born a new Atlantis

She appalls hunger and war
Desperation does surround her border to border
Her statue stands shining a light
In our world of freedom and peaceful hearts

Reacting against dictatorial aggression
If in need she does help defiantly
No reimbursement asked just a good friend
In our world of freedoms and peaceful hearts
