The grown-ups will be singing and drinking wine
as the kids will be excited about Santa and Christmas time
The snow is starting to fall outside
and it fills my heart with warmth inside.
There is a long winter ahead
sometimes I felt sad now I feel joy instead.
Childhood memories come to mind
a treasure trove for me to find.
Looking forward to Yuletide fun
no matter clouds or sun.
The family will get together again
no trace of sorrow or pain.
