A Bat in Your Room By Robert St.Germain

I fly into your window,
just a bat in your room.
I have not come for blood,
and I have not come for doom.
All I want to do is watch you as you sleep.
And in my love for you I am very weak.
I sit here on your dresser
as I see your chest rise and fall.
Now I get lost in you
and I do not feel dark at all.
But, now I feel the thirst
So I must leave you now.
Some day I will win your love
when I learn how
So off into the night
I fly into the sky.
And I envision you
here at my side.
