If only I could have what I had, to go way back when going back
in time, for but a day is all I would take.
To be with loved ones that are gone today, to be in a life that was
more than just okay.
To be a special person with potential, to once again feel special.
To enjoy the company of others, no anxiety, just enjoying the positive
energy.
To wake up rested, without medication, to have the energy to do
what I want.
To have a clear mind, free of guilt and remorse.
To enjoy this special day, taking with me the hope for another.
To not be an outcast, with a sketchy past.
If only this could come true, because I need to know, the goodness
once again, way back when.
