In The Third Degree: Andrews

It’s not that he left her stranded
They were seemingly getting along
Longevity stated it was in the third degree
Then came the poetic justice

They did not know each other from childhood
But he accepted her with dreams of the past
A dream of futures seemed so hard for him
Then came the poetic justice

She loved him maybe not and never told
It seemed she saw he struggled for the words
For phrases of futures, he did so troubledly
But all relationships need time to grow

It should have been a dawning for both
To work together for a belief of two
But she with him very impatient and cold
Then came the poetic justice

One day he left a very young man
She realised finally she loved him so
Maybe too late to tell her beloved friend
Finally came the tragic poetic justice
