Hope: James Adamson

I want to share our love
with our lips,
peck you on the nose,
(you don’t like that
and I don’t know why)
I love your eyes the most,
please, why don’t you believe me?
I will caress my lips on
your closed eyes,
share our love
with our lips,
look in our eyes,
wish it never had to end,
pretend it never had to end,
I love your eyes…
pretend it can ever end.
