Light: Jordan Derksen

The dark nightstands
still, as the earth turns.
The moon circles slowly
reflecting the sun that shines.
Brightly, the stars twinkle
like snowflakes falling.
The space between the planets
is like the great expanse
of the oceans.
The dark night stands still
as the earth turns.
