SEPTEMBER 2018 Edition – ‘HOPE’

Here at Kaleidoscope we accept work under many different themes and genres and publish 10 works monthly. But new for this year, we will be also showcasing four focused editions throughout the year with the following themes:

June: ‘Strength’
September – ‘Hope’
December – ‘Resilience’,
March – ‘Growth’’.

In this months edition we celebrate poems of hope, in its many guises and nuances,  by poets with lived experiences of mental illness. In these poems, written with reflective honesty, the contributors reach out to the reader by sharing thoughts and feelings about perseverance through hope, despite life’s sometimes many obstacles.

Please do enjoy your Kaleidoscope selection and keep in mind that we publish ten new poems and/or testimonial prose writing pieces on the tenth of every month and are always looking for new writing and poetry to publish in our online zine.  We also accept poetry and testimonial writing and poetry by friends and family members affected by the mental illness of a loved one.

If you have poetry you would like to share, we encourage you to submit.
