3am By J.H.

04/16/201805/11/2018 ~ kaleidoscopeonline

The silence is deafening
loud screaming.
—So quiet, yet so loud.
—The calm after the storm;
everything, everyone,
standing still.
—No movement,
not even brushes of wind.
—Eyes adjust to
an empty darkness.
—3am thoughts.
—3am silence.
