To the glory of God, to Gwyneth with love. Where shadows break free of concreteBark on a winter tree tells talesPeople duck awayLove reaches its heights in a hand shakeSweat is like hair gelClothes never fitFamilies offer a closed fistFriends hang in suspenseStepping into church with pants around his hipsHaving to wonder about the intentions … Continue reading Baptism of a Transient: James Adamson

To Gwyneth with LoveTo the Glory of God Love poetry is the effort to divide out love and beauty. You are that beauty.Clouds scattering for the love of bluesharing in a sunrise.Laughter has its source in beauty.Irony is a sense of comparisonas if your statue is all the art there is.Joy is one king of laughterhumour … Continue reading A Plane Across the Sky

To the Glory of God To Gwyneth, with Love  Saved your life It’s all in your hands Everything can go either way Everyone has a chance Crashing the car to avoid the baby carriage Turning on the light in a dark room Making use of the wind Letting it go Going skiing or skating Embarrassing the land The bear kills his dad But the environment is saved The … Continue reading Make it Right: James Adamson

To the Glory of God  To Gwyneth with Love  Walking among the shadows in a forest  There is no rhyme or reason in knowing what the shadows are Until you look up Life exceeds you if you know you are living The clouds bleed off a mountain peak Leaves stab into the sky The grains of sand are innumerable yet there is … Continue reading Rhyme or Reason: James Adamson

Dark Hope: James Adamson

05/18/202405/17/2024 ~ kaleidoscopeonline

To the Glory of God, to Gwyneth with Love.  The only reason we look down is that we’re in the dark.  In the light we look to the horizon. When we watch our step we see the separation between the boards on the dock. When the sky is blue we wonder how far we can see, the rotation of … Continue reading Dark Hope: James Adamson
