I found a book covered in leaves.
It was in the woods surrounded by trees.
I opened it up and peered inside.
The darkness within could no longer hide.
The incantations entered my mind.
And there is no escape that I could find.
I tried to drop it but could not let go.
So, I stood there reading it in the falling snow.
Something took control of my mind.
Now I was trapped in an evil bind.
A demon grabbed me by my feet.
And it dragged me through snow and sleet.
I yelled and screamed as loud as I could.
Let me go it never would.
In this hellish realm is where I will stay.
I will never see the light of day.
|Maybe one day I will escape.
For now, I do not know my fate.
