Another mass shooting on the news tonight.
Things will not get better,
and things are not right.
Sometimes it’s gender,
and sometimes it’s race.
Have their minds gone to outer space?
How can you kill a person because they’re not like you?
What did that poor person do to you?
You fill them with bullets and murder them with hate.
Can we learn our lesson before it’s too late?
We all share this planet and we’re all one family.
Will we all destroy each other?
Or will we finally break free?
