Colours: Marjolaine Brodeur

Spring has come slowly to us,
Bringing with it its palette of colors.
They are vibrant and are meant to be so;
To feed our souls with their array.

An end to winter and its malaise,
Spring with its colors nourish us.
Bringing us in better balance with life,
So necessary for so many of us who hope.

Hope for better days and nights.
Flowers and trees bud as well.
Birds chirping and migratory ones as well,
letting us all know it is time.

The colors of the spectrum cannot be denied.
They must be embraced as they come.
Working themselves in our lives.
Reminding us of their powerful role.

They must be exalted as they cycle on;
powerful as they are in our lives.
They are indeed creators of good for us.
And must be respected for their sakes.

Let us all remain agog before the beauty of colors in our lives.
Truly wondrous and joyful to all.
