In my darkest hour in this war, my prayers were for you.
The one I love forever and always.
I pray for the safety of my children and their mothers.
I pray for my safe return.

I stay awake at night praying for the light of day.
Another day I made it out alive.
Through so many long roads.
So many lives lost.
In this war it’s hard to go without getting blood on your hands.
