Some time ago I read an article on the benefits of De-Cluttering one’s household. So, now I have begun the process and am glad to have decided to do it. I would not want my grieving children to be forced to do this. If I should die earlier than I anticipate to do s. It is much better that I should spare them this chore.
Bags of garbage already tossed away, I am very glad to have started on this path. Though mentally physically tiring, in the end I find myself stunned by what I have kept that serves me no purpose and never will. A bare bones existence is much better and will not affect my pleasure in what is more important to me.
Already, I see a light at the end of the tunnel as I see progress in my own chore; my children, I know will thank me for it later. There is also a spiritual element to it; that of focusing on the important things and not the unimportant things in one’s life.
Not everything is tossed away, some is set to be donated for someone else to use; most especially for refugees who are destitute and could use these things. If you are so inclined to do this de-cluttering, you may be assured to reap benefits from this act.
